Sugar to taste
Cardamom powder
Crushed Cashew nuts
Sliced Almonds
Full fat milk
Ghee
Method:
1.Peel of all carrots.Cut the tips & bottom of carrot and wash them.
2.Now grate the carrots.
3.In a heavy bottom pan put the grated carrots ,switch on gas at high.
4.Now add full fat milk to the pan.Add as much milk as required to cover carrot.
5.Reduce flame to medium.Keep stiring the halwa after 5-6 min.
6.When the milk is evaporated fully add sugar to it according to taste.Sugar will melt and leave water .So keep stiring every 7-8 min at high flame. Evaporate full water from the halwa.
7.Once the sugar is fully mixed up in halwa without leaving any water ,you can add ghee to it. and cook for 7-8 min,
8.Again its up to you how much ghee you need.More the ghee the better is the taste.
9.Add all dry fruits to your halwa and give it a stir.Now add cardamon powder n cover it for 5 min at low flame.This will add cardamon aroma to your halwa.
10.Remove the pan from the stove and serve hot.Garnish it with dry fruits on top.
