Mix Vegtable Paratha

Paratha's are a big hit in India and this is very often made for breakfast on weekends.They are healthy and delicious.These paratha's are not as heavy as aloo paratha.So here goes the recipe ................

Ingredients:

2 Cups grated cauliflower
1-1/2 cup grated carrot
Add Image1-1/2 cup boiled mashed/grated potato
1 cup softened green peas(boiled)
1 Green chili chopped finely
Red chili powder to taste
Salt to taste
Grated ginger 1 tsp
Roasted Cumin powder
Cumin Seeds
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Dough:

2 cups wheat flour
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon ghee
Luke warm water.

Method:

1 Mix all ingredients together and knead a dough.Dough should not be soft.As when we make stuffed paratha we need little hard dough so that the filing does not come out while rolling the paratha.

2.So try using small amount of water while kneading dough.

Paratha (Method):

1.Mix all the grated vegetables together with ginger.

2.Add all dry ingredients to the vegetable mixture.

3.Mix together with chopped cilantro and green chili.

4.Using dough make round ball little bigger then golf size ball.

5. Put paratha vegetable mixture on roti.You can fill as much as you fell is enough to make paratha.(i put around 4 tablespoon )

6.Holding the edges of all sides seal the roti ,sprinkle some flour and start spreading the roti in circular form.

7.Heat tava and transfer paratha on it.

8.Fry it from both sides till golden brown and crispy on medium heat using oil/ghee.

So be ready to have a bite......................
